You asked a rhetorical question, and I think you were giving in to the same impulse you had in childhood when you rolled around in fallen leaves. Too bad you had to notice that cop and get all self-conscious, but I guess that's inevitable at your age...I mean at our age. Blech...age is something I still refuse to accept on general principles.

I love your pictures for this post. The only trees that change color here are the sweet gum trees, which are just about to turn in another month or so. I'll make a point of taking a lot of pictures of them when they do, to partly make up for the hundreds of pictures I lost when my old computer was stolen. Turns out my hard drive wasn't the safe storage place I thought it was--but then I should have known that.

Rakshahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11280365011937595321noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3988299562536912229.post-10599916227395352452012-11-09T07:05:21.537-08:002012-11-09T07:05:21.537-08:00I'm going downhill; you're just a bit over...I'm going downhill; you're just a bit over the hill! Heh, heh. Sounds like fun, crunching along through the leaves and taking beautiful photos. You can have the skiing, though. If I'm gonna break a leg, it will be trying to hoist too heavy a glass!

Glad you've acclimated to "home" once again although I think you're more of a citizen of the world than some of us. I get homesick when I drive out of Ocala!

Take good care, mi amigo!Lowellhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15305748075301453010noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3988299562536912229.post-85578351369606860562012-11-08T15:53:09.756-08:002012-11-08T15:53:09.756-08:00No, you're not going down hill already, you...No, you're not going down hill already, you're just able to experience a lot of things that others wish they could as well, but feel they're too old! That is a really dumb way to feel as we are never too old to experience/appreciate beauty wherever we find it -- particularly nature's beauty! Have a great weekend.Sylvia Khttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05484577678585907669noreply@blogger.com
