Now it occurs to me that I have seen pictures of them before, but for some reason the trees in your picture look different from the pictures I've seen in the past, except for the swollen trunk which is typical of the species.

Maybe it's the light, or the fact that the trees are leafless? In any case it's an amazing picture. They look like trees in a science fiction movie--like something that might grow on another planet. I have never heard of them before, and I've never seen any trees that looked like those - not even close.

Your mysterious encounter with the young man trying to sell you French Colonies stamps is what I would call a major synchronicity--the kind of experience that not only gets your attention because it seems to have your name on it, but which you never forget because it seems to be a message from another world. And yes, I do believe in magic and always have.Rakshahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11280365011937595321noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3988299562536912229.post-59179680264950017152014-04-30T14:34:30.515-07:002014-04-30T14:34:30.515-07:00Oh, and your last photo is beyond glorious!Oh, and your last photo is beyond glorious!Sylvia Khttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05484577678585907669noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3988299562536912229.post-26109812318548823232014-04-30T14:16:46.660-07:002014-04-30T14:16:46.660-07:00A beautiful and very moving post.
